Happy New Year's Eve!

Hi Everyone! Hope all is well. I'm fine & have been enjoying my time off this past week. We have plans to go to our friends house tonight for New Year's Eve celebration. Hope everyone else gets to do what they want tonight as well. Here are the pictures of my cleaned & almost organized craft room, all of Christmas has been put away & I've been able to work on other things instead, of course my camera is still only picking & choosing which pictures to download so I have to get pictures of the projects again. In the meantime here's pictures of my room:

Here's the entry as you can see just about everything is close by.

My Nestabilities, my Cuttlebug is stationed right below so these are easily accessible.
Here's a close up, all labeled for easy identification.

Here's the area my dh calls my little "Archiver's" he thinks I have all of the store stored in this area :) Little does he know I hope to expand off this little area in 2010 :) shhhh don't tell him.

Here's a close up of one side the picture of the other side didn't download...

Here's my Clip it Up which holds my clear stamps for which I organized by theme this past week. I may have to get the upper extension to store smaller sets as I think it's completely filled now.

This is my cabinet that holds all my stamps, the upper shelf holds my Angel company stamps & a few pads of 8x8 papers. The next shelf has my unmounted stored in binders as well as some wood mounted in the containers two of which are Christmas stamps. The next shelf has various other stamps mostly wood mounted & the bottom which you cannot see in this picture has my Stampin' Up! sets. The cabinet to the left of the picture has envelopes & such & as you can see I have a card carousel which holds various finished cards.

Finally, here's a picture I thought someone might be interested in, this is the inside of a small binder which holds unmounted stamps on the lids of the large SU clamshell boxes for which I punched holes in to place in the binder. These I'd say i frequent often as they are one of the easiest ways to get to my stamps :)

Well if you have any questions please leave me a comment & I'd be happy to explain something in more detail. Thanks for stopping by & Happy New Year to you and your's!

Thanks for stopping & talk to you soon!

Missing in Action

Or so it seems... really busy still so my apologies for a lack of posts lately. The time is just flying & there's only 10 days until Christmas... yikes - I still have a ton of things to do... I'm sure I'm not the only one though. Well here's today's DT Challenge card - it needed to be in all red with the exception of the image - that in which would look funny in red :) I used last Friday's freebie since I didn't have time to work on something last Friday. Let me know what you think & be sure to join in on the challenge - just hop on over to the SMC Blog for more details & to see what the other DT members came up with. Have a great day & thanks for stopping by!

Busy, Busy & Busy

That's just how I feel at this time of year... So much to do and so little time & now we are awaiting a snow storm here in the Midwest yucky... Well enough of that talk, on to business...

It's that time, time for a Sew Many Cards new release & the images this month are super cute... How many of you guessed which image I got to work with? Well here's the sample I made using it, let me know what you think :)

This little guy was so much fun to color & since I'm so late getting my own Christmas cards done one because I'm filling special orders for others and two because I've procrastinated how I want this year's card to look I've decided this little guy will be part of my 2009 card :) Isn't he so cute? On to this week's DT challenge, perfect for those of us here that have to deal with SNOW... we were asked to create something with a winter theme & here's what I came up with:

I'd love to hear what you think thanks for stopping by and don't forget to get over to the SMC blog & the Ning blog as well to be a part of the new release party! Have Fun!

Another Monday!

Well I'm not nearly as happy this Monday as I was last Monday but I guess I have to make money to pay my bills.... Yes, that's right I had to go to "work" today. Long day! Anyway here's something I'm working on for a person at work who ordered 25 :) Her Christmas card is being made by little ole me, cool huh? She loved the Angel's Landing lab as she has 2 labs so I was off & running yesterday to be sure I was making what she hoped, here's what I came up with:

Well as you can see I used a Cuttlebug folder for the background, my circle & scalloped circle Nestabilities & my MS punch for the holly leaves along with bling. You can't see it on here but I used my Copic Clear Spica Glitter pen as well to highlight around the hat & the little ball of the hat. Anyway, way be sure to come back tomorrow to see what I came up with for this week's SMC DT challenge oh & don't forget the SMC new release is coming up too, can't wait to share my sneek peak :) Thanks for stopping by & I hope to see you back tomorrow!

SMC Freebie Friday!

Hi everyone! Sure hope you had a nice Thanksgiving mine was great, just a lot of work & I'm glad it's over :) Now for the fun to begin, decorating for Christmas, one of my favorite times of the year. Is it your favorite too? I haven't done any Black Friday shopping in years since my kids were younger & had to have those hard to get toys... I'm not fighting the crowds even though Michael's is having a fantastic sale... I'm staying in today :)

I'm a bit late getting the SMC freebie posted today as I ran out of time yesterday to get my creation completed & had to finish it up this morning. Here's my sample:

Isn't it cute? Although I don't live in a warm climate to where there are cactus around it's still cute & fun to work with. I was able to use one of my newest punches as well which matched the lights.

Be sure to sign up for the Sew Many Cards newsletter in order to get your free image you can either sign up through my blog here on my sidebar or head on over to the SMC blog & sign up. Alos be sure to stay tuned as next week is the latest release & I have a cute new image to share more info to follow soon. Have a great day!

Tuesday Sew Many Cards DT Challenge Card

Hello Everyone! It's that time of the week, our Sew Many Cards DT challenge card! We had to use Brown, Orange & Green cardstock/paper only & any colors on our image. Here's what I came up with:

Is this image not the cutest? His name is "Hershey" & he's one of Sew Many Cards newest digi stamps, be sure to check the site as I believe he's available now. So I used a brown base, the orange fence & green grass which happens to be made from my Martha Stewart icicle punch, makes great grass :) Let me know what you think & be sure to come on back as I have several gift card holders I've made that I will be sharing before the end of the week! Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Sunday!

Hello Everyone! Sure hope you're having a nice weekend! Mine has been great! Yesterday my DD was in a Jazz Festival (she plays trumpet) for the IMEA - Illinois Music Educators Assoc this is something she had to try out for & was chosen - 1st time too! Anyway, I'm so proud!

The other reason I'd say this was a good weekend is today I was able to get a bunch of projects done so it's really been a "good" weekend! I also found out that Cosmo Cricket will be sponsoring Sew Many Cards as well as The Cutting Cafe so you'll be seeing things done here with both sponsors products - I can't wait! Well here is one of the projects I worked on today, it was a request for a twin baby girl shower card & here is what I came up with:

The inside, took me some time to find just the right thing to say for the inside, hopefully the person who requested it like it, we'll see... I'd sure like to hear if you liked it?

Thanks for stopping by & be sure to come on back this week as I have plenty more to share! Hope everyone has a great day!

Supplies: Stamps: Pink Cat Studio Paper: plaid from my stash & a card from my stash, ribbon, gems, sayings computer generated, stickles, tool: spellbinders ovals, long rectangles & bow easy.
