Under the Sea or On the Beach

It's actually your choice! Today is my first challenge with Creative Card Crew! I'm so happy to be on the team & look forward to working with the other talented ladies on the team as well as being a part of the future challenges with them!  Thank you Mari for the opportunity! So for my first DT member challenge I chose Under the Sea & used the image from the wonderful sponsor Michelle Perket, here is my card using the image called Camille:

A closer look:

For this card I used some old paper from a DCWV summer pad that looks like sand, the Nestabilities die called Romantic Rectangles, copic markers & some stamps from an older stamp set I had from Penny Black.

Sure hope you'll join us & be sure to check out what the rest of this awesomely talented DT did as well as the prize Michelle Perkett is offering!

Thanks for coming by!

Summer... Summer... Summer...

Hi there!  Now that my youngest is about to head off to college :( & and leave hubby & I with an "empty nest" I decided it's time to start blogging some more, I've also been welcomed into the Creative Card Crew Team & will be posting challenges with them, I've gained more followers too (hi there!) as well as the fact that I'll just plain have more time on my hands for sure.

Boy has it ever been summer here in the Midwest...  Hot, hot, hot...  Over 100 tomorrow with the heat index, too hot for me :(  Well with that theme in mind I thought I'd share some cards I've recently made:

I'm trying really hard to use up some old stuff I have so these flip flops are ones from a few years back, the flowers are random flowers from my stash & the circles are Nestabilities.

Okay, well that's it for today, as I said I plan to blog more in the days to come so be sure to stop by as I have many other things to share :)  Thanks for coming by!

Flowers, Flowers, Flowers

Hi there!  My post here is a bit late, you see Digi Design Challenges is having another challenge a week apart from the last rather than two weeks apart.  Although you can see my card with all the other fabulous design team members card I'm just getting a chance to get this post up...  Doesn't life just get so busy sometimes???  Anyway enough of my sad tales...

Onto the project, this challenge you are asked to use flowers & lots of them.  I used a flower embossing folder & some die cut flowers from Taylored Expressions along with the lovely flowers in the image:

Check it out:

A close up:

The image I used is one of Diane's newest little girls, isn't her face too cute?  This image is called Molly with Butterfly.

I hope you can join us!  Have a great Sunday!
