Clear Digi Stamps Freebie!!!

Hello, thanks for coming by today! I'm sure if you read my last post and linked into the CDS store you seen it hadn't opened as planned :( However it did indeed open yesterday and is pretty cool! Be sure to check it out!  It's how you can get your hands on this little cutie set called Otterly Thankful:

Is he not cute or what?  I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder for the navy blue paper and popped the image and sentiment out with a bit of black and white and finished it off with some bling.  Again be sure to head on over to the store and the blog to catch the official announcement and learn more about upcoming freebies! Some Awesome News!!!

Hi there! So glad you came by today! Hope you are doing well too.  I have some exciting news to share! I've been asked to be a Design Team Member for Clearly Digi Stamps!  Clearly Digi Stamps is opening a brand new store today too!  Be sure to check it out!

 

Clearly Digi Stamps is pretty unique because not only do the sell such cute images they sell almost all of them in packages most times the package includes the outline images, colored images, matching paper and sentiments.

 For my project today I used the images from the set called Construction, this included the background paper and a sentiment, check it out:

Are these not the cutest images?  The saying is too cute as well, something you could give to a good friend for helping you out, just to say "thanks".

Show Us Your Bling....

 

That's right, Show Us Your Bling is the challenge for Digi Designs this week!  But first let me explain the reason my posting is so late, well besides not having to time to get it done prior to going out of town last Wednesday morning. Yes, on business for my "day job"... for which I was scheduled to return early evening on Friday, because of the rather awful thunderstorms in New Orleans, LA, that's right I was in New Orleans for a few days on business.  They had same raging thunderstorms that had awful lightening, my traveling co-worker partner and I headed out to the airport to make a 2:30 flight around noon, now mind you I checked at 10 and our flight was on time... while in the cab we look to see that our flight had been cancelled and a new flight rescheduled for Saturday at 6 AM, yes AM, so we had to be at the airport by 4:30 AM... yuk.  So I had to get many of my weekend chores done yesterday like shopping and laundry in a zombie like state... lol... I was in bed by 8:30 last night, can't remember the last time I went to bed that early...

Okay, anyway no more of my sad tale, I think you get the picture... onto the challenge, here is my card using the oh so cute image from Di's Digi Stamps called Kittie Cuddle:

Any Shape but Square Challenge

 

 That's right, any shape but square... kind of tough isn't it?  Well I made a round easel card, using the oh too cute image called Birthday Ted:

I also used Copic markers to color the image, Spellbinders dies, Martha Stewart balloon punch, glitter paper from DCWV and floss for the balloon stings.
