Summer... Summer... Summer...
Hi there! Now that my youngest is about to head off to college :( & and leave hubby & I with an "empty nest" I decided it's time to start blogging some more, I've also been welcomed into the Creative Card Crew Team & will be posting challenges with them, I've gained more followers too (hi there!) as well as the fact that I'll just plain have more time on my hands for sure.
Boy has it ever been summer here in the Midwest... Hot, hot, hot... Over 100 tomorrow with the heat index, too hot for me :( Well with that theme in mind I thought I'd share some cards I've recently made:
I'm trying really hard to use up some old stuff I have so these flip flops are ones from a few years back, the flowers are random flowers from my stash & the circles are Nestabilities.
Okay, well that's it for today, as I said I plan to blog more in the days to come so be sure to stop by as I have many other things to share :) Thanks for coming by!

Winter Birthdays
Hello there & happy Sunday! I can't believe the weekend is almost over... can you? I shopped all day with my 16 year old DD yesterday we set out at 10 & didn't get home until after 4 what a long day. Of course this was clothes shopping & not craft shopping so it wasn't nearly as fun as it could be but we had a good time together none the less :)
Okay today I'm sharing a card I made a few weeks back that I forgot to post, it's for winter birthdays... I have a winter birthday (next Friday to be exact ;) ) so I can relate & of course my birthday wouldn't be right if there wasn't any snow & guess what they are calling for a big storm this week here in the Midwest but hopefully they are wrong... we'll see. On to my card:

A girly version:

For these I used an image from Clear Dollar Stamps called Brrrthday Snowman, a new Sizzix embossing folder which is becoming one of my favs, Nestabilities, EK Success punches & bling oh & they are colored with Copics.
Thanks for coming by today!

Good Sunday Morning!
Wow, I cannot believe the number of comments left on my last post it's great! SMC is having a terrific new release as all the images are super cute. I purchased some others for my collection that I had to have & hope to have samples done really soon.
In the meantime here's a card I did a few weeks back using the free image I had gotten from the Greeting Farm's blog I had also made some thank you cards to send to some vendors of my day job for the holiday gifts they sent my staff & I. I used the Star Cuttlebug embossing folder & the Spellbinders Star & Pinking circle. Isn't he cute?
Here's the card I created for my female staff at my day job, each year I create a card & duplicate it for each of them, & there's already been 2 birthdays so I have 7 more to make to cover the year :) I used my new Martha Stewart cupcake border stamp & the cupcake is from my Hero Arts cupcake set. I also used my cuttlebug candle embossing folder. I'd love to hear what you think.
Thanks for stopping by, I'm off to work on some other projects to share this week. Have a great day!

Some Like it Hot... Not Me!
It's another hot one here in the Midwest. Feeling like over 100 degrees today. I really don't like the heat, not that I couldn't use the loss of a few pounds I just don't like heat & humidity. Anyway as mentioned in my last post here's the card with the little box bag of candy:
I just used the same background paper to make the bag, the main colors are Lovely Lilac & Orchid Opulance :) Hope you like. Well if you live where I live keep cool! Until next time!

Good Morning!
I hope this post finds you having a great weekend! It was a bit yucky here yesterday but today it looks like sunshine & 79 degrees! Here are some samples of cards I did a while back:
This card was made using a digi image I had gotten off of Splitcoaststampers, isn't it beautiful?
Next up would be a Fred She Said image I purchased, same colors as the last card. This one too I think is beautiful :)
Finally today:
This is the card I made for the girls on my team at my "day job"... Each year I make them a card & some sort of matching candy gift. I'll post the box bag at another time as I have two left that haven't had their birthday's yet. Well that's it for today, if you have any questions leave me a comment or just drop me an e-mail! Have a great day!

Finally today:
