Well here's the first Christmas card for 2008 - I used my exclusive Archiver's Hero Arts set, some left over ribbon from last year's Michael's stash. I sure hope to post again this weekend as I've been working on a ton of things & hope to share :)
I actually have a bit of alone time today & I'm off work ready for a four day weekend! Sad that it's the last weekend of summer but look forward to fall & all the holidays as well. I've finally gotten around to taking pictures of my stamp haven & posting them, I spend as much time in there as I possibly can & really love the fact that my family understands my passion/addiction & let's me have my haven :)
Here is the entrance & what you see when you walk in the door:
Then there's the area I do most of my work at:
To the right my workspace, my stamp pads, clip it up with my clear stamps:
To the left above the work area:
Next to that is my cabinet that hold most of my stamps & paper & other miscellaneous supplies:
This is the other side of the room, I can just swing myself over there in my chair, here's where I keep my ever growing collection of Nestabilities (I just love 'em):
Here's my well loved Cuttlebug on my desk that hold my printers & such:
Just above my collection of stuffed bears (my favorite of all time):
The other side more bears & my work:
My collection of SU sets & such I'm trying to sell, I just don't have the room with everything else in my haven to keep all these sets, I've really moved to my Angel Company style stamps & the clear ones as well have become a love of mine - E-mail me if your interested or check out my post on Splitcoaststampers.
This too is the side of the room where my closet full of stuff is as well I'll save that & my paper storage for another time :) Hope you've enjoyed my tour & thanks for stopping by!
Just trying to stay up to date with my blog :) hopefully I'll continue to at least add every week - for some reason it seems harder to keep up than I thought it would be. Anyway, here's a cute little pad of paper I covered sometime ago.
Here's a nice gift I made for one of my adjusters that took on a new position at my "day job" :) She was always so helpful that I felt I needed to show my gratitude. Enjoy!
As promised, I'm back & boy do I have a ton to share. I'll begin with:
These were my entries to the Penny Black swap/contest I was in a few weeks back, I didn't win but just loved the swaps I got back as well. I had so much fun creating these too!
Next up is:
These were two cards I made for a Bear Swap, one is a 3x3 & the other is June's stamp of the month from TAC - haven't received my swap back yet so I cannot say if it was as great as the last but all of the ladies on Splitcoast are so talented so I cannot imagine getting back anything but the best :) I had fun making these too!
Next up:
For the end of this post, I'd like to share my Shoe Box swap card from a stamping event held by some fellow Angel stampers since we couldn't make it to TAC's Seminar in Wichita, Kansas this year. Boy did we have fun that day! The second is my full card swap & last is my paper pin technique share I did for the ladies they all made really nice butterflies too! This is a technique I learned in my SU days shared by Kelly Purkey, I just love making those pins!
Well that's probably it for today, unless I can get back here later. I'm hoping to share some pictures of my wonderful stamp room soon too! If you have any questions, please e-mail me or leave me a comment & I'll get back to you asap! Thanks for stopping by & happy Saturday to you!
Wow, I really thought I'd be better at keeping up on this blog... As you well know life just takes up so much time these days! Well my son turned 21 yesterday & my daughter turns 14 tomorrow - again where does the time go? Well here's a recent picture of them both. I hope to share some more cards later! Thanks for stopping by!
