Is it Spring yet???

Not here in the Midwest... hopefully tomorrow... fingers crossed.  Well Digi Designs is hoping to get it here with a new challenge "Spring" and my card is using the image called  " Bunny":

New Release Easter Challenge

Person and Animal Challenge

Hi everyone!  Hope all is well with you! Not sure about you but I'm about ready for spring and at this point I'd take summer too!!!!

This week's Digi Design Challenge is to use a Person and Animal in your project. Since Di's Digi's have several with both, it wasn't too hard for me.  I used Basket & Bunny for my project and here's what I came up with:

Isn't she cute?  I know it's a bit early for Easter but it will probably be here before we know it...  I used a Martha Stewart punch for the grass and I believe that's Labels 17 from Spellbinder's, the paper is from a new 6x6 DCWV stack as well.  Now be sure to head on over to the Challenge Blog to see what beautiful projects the rest of the design team created as well as the generous prize offered by SVG Files!  Good Luck!

Some News to Share!

Good Monday Morning to you!  I have some news to share with you today, a friend from the past asked me to join in helping another friend of hers with a new challenge blog.  Of course I was a bit apprehensive as life's been pretty busy lately and as you know I'm not posting here as often as I have in years past, but I'm up for the challenge and hope to not let anyone down.

So with that in mind I'd like to introduce you to 2 Cute Ink Digital Stamps and the adorable images the owner Heidi creates! The new challenge blog is going to have bi-weekly challenges and the first one is a color challenge, one of my favs because it just makes it easier "sometimes" to make something with a recipe rather than creating the wheel.  Here is the color swatch:

The images are just super cute and my challenge card is made using the too cute image called Country Chick and there's sentiments to go along with this image.  Here's my card:

Tic Tac Toe

That's right it's a Tic Tac Toe challenge at Digi Designs, not something I recall us ever doing since I've been on the team but it's pretty cool, such variations to choose from! Here's the board to follow:

Here's my card using the cute image called Plant Pot Kitty:

As you can see I chose the end row, Embossing, Ribbon and Flowers.  What a fun card to make, I went with a larger card than ones I normally use, the paper and ribbon are from my stash, of course their are Nestabilities, Copic markers for the fun coloring and a Sizzix folder for the embossed flowers which just so happen to really match the paper :)
